The Widow

This is officially my very first watercolor painting. I didn't know what I was doing at first, so I decided to take a remote abstract approach. Unfortunately it was too big for my scanner so I had to scan it in two parts, I don't have a problem with that though. It's a painting of a woman who had lost her husband, so she took her own life. The Japanese characters say: My love it dead...farewell...
